(NYSE:VIT) ("VanceInfo"), an IT service provider and one of the leading offshore software development companies in China, today announced that the Microsoft ‘Best Vendor Award - FY 11’ for China has been awarded to the VanceInfo Shanghai office. Based on comprehensive past performance and audit results, this is the first year the award has been presented.
The Microsoft IT Offshore Facility team conducted audits on multiple vendor sites in China. VanceInfo’s winning site in Shanghai was selected based on past performance tracked through KPI reports. The audit was conducted based on ISO 27001 standards, with security controls verified, observed and documented throughout the audit process. VanceInfo Shanghai met all the basic security controls and exceeded security expectations.
